Hemp Crisps Cookies

Really quick to make. I would love to hear your thoughts after trying them.


2/3 cups brown sugar

1 beaten egg

1/2 cup melted butter-cooled

1/2 cup flour

1 tsp cinnamon

1 cup hulled hemp hearts


Mix together brown sugar, beaten egg, melted butter – Do not over mix

Mix flour, cinnamon and hulled hemp hearts together.

Mix the dry with the moist.

Do not let the mixture sit to long on it’s own before baking.

Spoon drop and flatten dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 until the edges are very crispy.

* For more porous cookies increase egg and/or decrease flour slightly


Hemp Milk


5-6 cups Water – for desired thickness use more or less water

1 cup Shelled Hemp Seeds


Mix the water and the Shelled Hemp Seeds in a blender.

Blend on high until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.

You can blend for flavor your favorite fruit or add vanilla, figs, dates, raisins, banana, honey maple syrup, chocolate.

If it’s to thick strain it through a cheese cloth.

Makes: 6-7 cups

Hemp Raspberry Muffins

Do you enjoy warm, nutritional muffins for breakfast? Make them the night before and heat in the microwave or place them into a lunch bag for a healthy snack.


2 cups oatmeal (large flakes, not instant)

4 cups 1% milk

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour

2 cups cornmeal

1 cup hulled hemp seeds

4 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

4 eggs, beaten

2 tsp lemon zest

1 cup hemp seed oil or canola oil

1 1/2 cups brown sugar, lightly packed

3 cups whole raspberries, frozen


* Preheat oven to 375 F

* Line 45 muffin cups with muffin papers

* In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the oatmeal and mild. Microwave on high until the oatmeal is creamy and tender, about 5-6 minutes. Cool slightly

* In a large mixing bowl, mix the all-purpose and whole-wheat flours, cornmeal, hulled hemp seeds, baking powder and salt

* in a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Mix in the lemon zest, hemp seed oil, brown sugar, and oatmeal mixture

* Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix until the dry ingredients have been moistened

* Gently fold the raspberries into the batter. Fill the lined muffin cups 2/3 full

* Bake for 20-30 minutes, until the muffins are lightly browned and a toothpick inserted comes out clean

Apple Pecan Hemp Seed Muffins – Yummy!!

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup all-purpose flour or Hemp Flour

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

2 small apples, peeled, cored, diced

1/2 cup coursely chopped pecans

1/4 cup toasted shelled hemp seed

3/4 cup hemp milk or plain yogurt

1/2 cup hemp oil

1 egg

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, pinch of
ground nutmeg (optional)

* Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl
* Mix in next three ingredients
* In separate bowl, whisk last three
* Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and blend together
* Spoon into pre-greased muffin cups 3/4 full 
* Bake at 400° F. for 18-22 minutes.
* Makes 12 muffins
* Remove muffins from tin and cool on
wire rack. 

* Hemp Milk can be made by mixing a
1/4 to 3/4 ratio of hemp hearts to
water in a blender


Butterscotch Hemp Cookies – So Good!!

My family love these cookies and they don’t even know how good they are for them.


1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp salt

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ cup butter, softened

½ cup honey

¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup milk

2 cups (12-ounce package) butterscotch chips

1 cup quick oats, uncooked

1 cup dried cranberries

1 cup peanuts or walnuts (optional)

¼ cup hemp heart seeds


  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and baking soda; set aside
  • In large bowl, combine butter, honey and brown sugar; beat until creamy
  • Beat in egg and vanilla extract
  • Blend in flour mixture alternately with milk
  • Stir in butterscotch chip, oats, peanuts or walnuts, cranberries and hemp heart seeds
  • Drop by rounded tsp onto greased cookie sheets
  • Bake at 350F for 8-10 min
  • Allow to stand 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets
  • Cool completely on wire racks

Makes about 5 dozen 2 ¼ inch cookies

Hemp Chicken

Great dinner to serve your family! A wonderful tasting chicken that adds extra protein into your diet.


2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons hulled hemp hearts (hemp seeds)
2 diced green onions

1 teaspoon chicken base
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon hemp oil
ground white pepper to taste
¼ teaspoon sugar

½ cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 beaten egg
½ cup water-enough to make batter smooth
3 tablespoons cornstarch
salt to taste
1 tablespoon hemp oil

3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sugar
salt to taste
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon white distilled vinegar
dash of ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  • Cut chicken breasts into 1” chunks and in a glass bowl combine all of the marinade ingredients and mix well. Add the chicken and coat evenly. Cover and marinade for 30 minutes in the ref
  • Meanwhile, in separate bowl combine all of the batter ingredients and mix thoroughly. The batter should be thick enough to coat the chicken but thin enough to flow around the pieces. Set aside.
  • Using a fork or tongs remove the pieces of chicken from the marinade and dip them into the batter to coat evenly (one by one). Deep fry the chicken in batches in your deep fryer for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. (you can fry in hot oil at 325 degrees in your skillet)
  • In your deep fryer or skillet combine the sauce ingredients and warm over medium heat. Bring to a boil while stirring and simmer until sauce slightly thickens.
  • In the deep fryer, skillet or in a serving dish coat chicken with the sauce and garnish with hulled hemp hearts.

Hemp Crackers

3/4 cup Hemp Heart Seeds

1 cup Unbleached White Flour

1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Garlic Powder (add your favorite spices)

2tb Olive Oil

2/3 cup Milk


Preheat over ot 325.

In a large bowl, add hemp heart seeds, flours, baking powder, salt and spices. Add in oil and mix until combined. Stir in mild and mix until mixture forms a soft dough.

Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill 10 min. Divide the dough in half. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll out dough onto thin rectangles. App 1/16″ think. Cut into a about 1 inch squares. Transfer to an ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with remainder of dough.

Bake 20-25 min, until crisp and golden. Makes about 100 crackers.
